About Cody and Stefanie

Cody grew up in Zanesville, OH. Son of Russ and Elaine Bauserman. He has an older sister, Marie; and a younger brother, Ryan. Cody grew up riding barrel horses and gained the love of horses from his dad. He graduated from Philo High School and worked a year in construction before trying to strictly train horses for a living. When he first started out, he would break and ride anything. At one point he broke a gaited horse to ride. In 1996, Cody worked for Troy Crumrine for 6 months. While he was working for Troy, he met Stefanie Frei. In 2000 Cody moved to Indiana to train and run barrel horses and in 2002 he purchased a place in Sallisaw, OK     Stefanie grew up in Marion, IN. She is the only child of Becky Cain and Mike Frei. Stefanie grew up riding western pleasure and english horses in open shows and then at AQHA shows. She gained the love of horses from her mom. When Stefanie graduated from Oak Hill High School, she sold her pleasure horse and decided to purchase a barrel horse to have fun with while in college. Stefanie met Cody at the start of her Sophomore year at Indiana University. She graduated after 5 years with a degree in Accounting and Computer Information Systems. She worked 2 years at Deloitte & Touche in their tax department in Indianapolis, IN, before she moved to Oklahoma in 2002 with Cody.
